George is a Boston-based attorney who specializes in creating and positioning business, financial, and political content for U.S. companies who are seeking to craft a global news angle for their press releases, annual reports, newsletters, feature articles, and other corporate communications. He consults on tax, business, law, technology, and financial topics for speeches, books, articles and web sites.
A graduate of Tufts University and Boston College Law School, George is a member of the Massachusetts bar; he practiced law in the Boston area for several years, concentrating in estate planning, probate, and taxation. After teaching American Politics at Tufts University, George completed his law degree and contributed to several academic research projects that were formally presented and published in academic circles. He also collaborated with Tufts faculty on voting studies and other research projects.
Additionally, George served as the tax advisor for Life is Short, Art is Long - Maximizing Estate Planning Strategies for Collectors of Art, Antiques, and Collectibles, winner of 2007 Axiom Business Book Award Silver Medal in the Personal Finance category, and is a frequent contributor to law and tax publications. George also has crafted the messaging for numerous political candidates and served as the economic and political commentator for the talk radio show Financially Speaking (WBNW, Boston).
As a software developer, George also possesses a deep understanding of computers and online operating systems. Leveraging his background in computer science, he has worked for a large defense contracting firm, as well as several high tech start-ups, developing software and web-based applications for the legal, tax, and financial services sectors.

 
Derek's job is to deliver you and your message to the public eye. By focusing on sending it to a diverse array of media outlets, he will help make that happen. Whether it’s radio or television, print or online, Derek has the tools to get you out there. He will work with you closely to develop and tailor your message in order to increase your visibility.
Derek is a graduate of Rollins College in Winter Park, FL where he studied Spanish and German. He has lived in both Spain and Germany and has traveled extensively throughout Europe, North America, and India. Currently, he studies at Suffolk University where he is a Global MBA candidate specializing in Marketing. Before joining Ictus, Derek worked in Operations at a Financial Services firm. Other past jobs include Swimming Pool-digger, Bellboy and Valet, Dining Room furniture salesperson, and Idea Expert.

 
Naomi's specialty is taking your content and developing a cohesive visual identity, whether it's a corporate branding package, book layout, web site, or any other design project. In her role as creative director, she works with the Ictus editors and project managers to create design with a purpose, creating and executing a custom-made strategy for each client. Naomi has designed for a wide range of industries, including healthcare, food packaging, apparel, and point-of-purchase campaigns. She brings a definite creative flair to every project she undertakes, including a multi-award-winning web site redesign for The Albion Group.
A native of Randolph, MA, Naomi attended the School of Visual Arts in New York City, where she studied advertising. She also holds a BFA in Graphic Design from Massachusetts College of Art + Design. In her spare time, Naomi enjoys reading on the T, watching horror movies, and playing board games - especially Scrabble.

 
Stewart K Kelly is a specialist in marketing strategy. He works in close partnership with clients – especially in the early stages of an engagement – to establish a goal and a clear set of objectives for the partnership. From there, he collaborates with the Ictus creative team and the client to develop a focused and achievable business plan to establish the deployment, sequencing, and measurability of the range of marketing tools to be employed. Stewart also provides consulting advice to clients on an ongoing basis.
A native of Dublin, Ireland, Stewart is a graduate of Trinity College Dublin, where he studied History. Prior to moving to the US and working with Ictus, he was product development manager at a Dublin-based data firm. In addition to his marketing work, Stewart is currently pursuing a master’s in International Relations at the Fletcher School, Tufts University.
Stewart is also a regular columnist on the topics of travel and wine for Shoestring magazine.

 
Matt's specialty is the written word, working closely with clients to translate their vision onto the page. Whether it's creating an original manuscript or editing existing material, Matt uses his writing skills and meticulous attention to detail to produce top-notch editorial content.
Matt grew up in nearby Winthrop, Massachusetts, and attended the Roxbury Latin School in Boston. He then ventured across the river to Harvard, where he studied English and edited a humor magazine, Satire V. After a brief stint as a freelancer, he's come to the Ictus Initiative to create engaging, professional copy for his clients. When he's not at Ictus, Matt lives a simple life and can generally be found watching hockey or baseball and enjoying a beer.
